When we lived in Brooklyn my studio was on the top floor of a brick warehouse and had a skylight but no windows. I used to work with a wet scarf around my neck to help keep cool, and I had a thermometer on the wall that I would keep an eye on. When it reached 92 degrees I'd give myself another half hour to finish what I was working on and then call it quits. While I have great fondness for those days, while I look at today's to do list I am feeling very grateful for my civilized and air conditioned Vermont studio!! ☀️πŸ’ͺπŸ”¨ this pic, Emily Bands in sterling silver.
